The following steps are to resolve the issue with activeX:
Step 1: Turn off Information Bar messages about blocked pop-up windows.

1) Open Internet Explorer.
2) Click Tools on the menu bar.
3) Click Pop-up Blocker.
4) Click Pop-up Blocker Settings.
5) Click to uncheck the Show Information Bar when a pop-up is blocked.

You will no longer receive messages
Step 2 : Turn off the Information Bar for file downloads

1) Open Internet Explorer.
2) Click Tools on the menu bar.
3) Click Internet Options... The Internet Options window appears.
4) Click the Security tab.
5) Click the Custom Level... button. The Security Settings window
appears.
6) Scroll down to Downloads in the Settings: list.
7) Click to select Enable under Automatic prompting for file downloads.
8) Click the OK button.
A Warning! message appears.
9)Click the Yes button to change the security settings for the zone.
10)Click the OK button.
You will now receive prompts directly from a Web site if it needs to
download a file to your computer.

5) Click the Custom Level... button. The Security Settings window

6) Locate ActiveX controls and plug-ins in the Settings: list.
7) Click to select Enable under Automatic prompting for ActiveX
controls.
8) Click the OK button.
A Warning! message appears.
9) Click the Yes button to change the security settings for the zone.
10)Click the OK button.
You will now receive prompts directly from a Web site if it needs to
download software to your computer.
Step 4: Enable secure sites to be visited:

Follow the steps below to reset SSL encryption so that you can view
secure pages:
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Click Tools, Internet Options, and then click the Security tab.
3. Click the Default Level button.
4. Click the Content tab.
5. Click the Clear SSL State button, and then click OK.

=== Delete Temporary Files ===
Follow the below steps to to delete the temporary Internet files and history:
1. Go to Start;
2. Go to Settings;
3. Go to Control Panel;
4. Go to Internet Options (or Internet);
5. Go to the General tab;
6. Under Temporary Internet Files, press the Delete Files button;
7. Under History, press the Delete History button;
8. Close the window by pressing the X in the upper right hand corner;
9. Close out of each other window by pressing OK.

Delete Internet Cookies as instructed below:
1. Go to Start;
2. Go to Settings;
3. Go to Control Panel;
4. Go to Internet Options (or Internet);
5. Go to the General tab;
6. Under Temporary Internet Files...
7. If there's a Delete Cookies button, press that;
Or if there isn't a Delete Cookies button, under Temporary Internet Files, press the Settings button, and do the following four steps;
8. Press the View Files button;
9. In the upper left corner, select Edit;
10. Select Select All to highlight all the names of the cookies files listed there;
11. Press Delete on your keyboard or use another delete method;
12. Close the window by pressing the X in the upper right hand corner;
13. Close out of each other window by pressing OK.
=== Clearing Cache and History ===
1. Close all programs and Internet Explorer windows.
2. Double-click the "Internet Options" icon in the Control Panel.
3. Click Internet Options/General tab.
4. Click the Delete Files button within Temporary Internet Files
section.
5. Click the Clear History button within the History section.
6. Click OK.
7. Close the Control Panel window.
8. Restart the computer for the changes to take effect.
NOTE: Enable the "Show all Files\Show Hidden files and Folders"
option before performing the next step. From Windows
Explorer, click Tools, click Folder Options, and select
the View Tab. Select the "Show All Files\Show Hidden
files and Folders" option.
=== Reset the Browser security settings ===
You can set the Internet Explorer security settings to default by
following these steps:
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. On the Menu bar, click Tools, and then Internet Options.
3. Click the Security Tab. You will find the following four icons:
* Internet
* Local Intranet
* Trusted sites
* Restricted sites.
4. Click the Internet icon.
5. Click Custom Level, Reset, and then OK.
6. Repeat step 5 for Local Intranet, Trusted sites, and Restricted
sites icons.
7. Click the Advanced tab.
8. Click Restore Defaults.
9. Click OK.
This will restore the security settings to default.
=== Disable Script Debugging ===
If the issue persists, disable script debugging by following these steps:
1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Click Tools, Internet Options
3. Click Advanced tab
4. Under Browsing section click the check box "Disable Script Debugging"
5. Click Apply followed by OK.
