1. Click Start and select Run.
2. Type "control userpasswords2" in the Open field and click OK.
3. Deselect the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this
computer" option from the Users tab. A dialog box will appear asking
you for the user name and password that should be used to logon
automatically.
4. Choose the user account for which you want to enable automatic login
and type the password.
5. Click OK.

Windows XP should no longer ask you for your user name and password.
